一篇又一篇的朋友圈流传的有关龙泉寺的文章为这座寺庙贴了无数令人叹为观止的标签。“最强科研组织”“扫地僧点化微信之父张小龙”“法师都用ipad诵经”……

Mysterious

Longquan Monastery sits in Fenghuangling Mountain of the Western Hills in the northern outskirt of Beijing. For many, this monastery, though ancient with over a thousand years of history, is in fact a mysterious center for advanced technology.

One after another, the Moments of Wechat is filled with incredible stories about this monastery: “the best scientific research organization”, “the sweeping monk enlightens the father of Wechat, Allan Zhang”, “monks use iPad to recite sutras” …

这座原本始建于辽代的千年古寺，其实复建不过十一年。

在高度发展的互联网时代，龙泉寺因为几位毕业于北大、清华等名校的高学历法师，再加上独树一帜地使用各种多媒体渠道传播佛教文化，以及那个样子呆萌逗趣的机器僧“贤二”，获得“最牛极客入龙泉”的盛名。

While this monastery was originally built in the Liao Dynasty over a thousand years ago, it has only been rebuilt for eleven years.

In the era of the booming Internet, Longquan Monastery attracted numerous well-educated monks from renowned institutions like Peking University and Tsinghua University, which, together with their unique ways to promote the Buddhist culture through multiple forms media and its likable robot monk Xian’er, has earned it the reputation that “the most brilliant geeks enter Longquan”.

做为一个以开源科学盛名的“没有围墙的研究所”、民间最受欢迎的科研组织——集智俱乐部也对其产生了好奇，所以，我们来了。

As an “research institution without walls” which is famous for its open-source science, Swarma Club has become curious about Longquan Monastery. Therefore, here we come.

门票25元（寺庙在凤凰岭景区，25元是凤凰岭景区门票）。

地铁四号线到颐和园北宫门，乘346路公交车到终点凤凰岭下，进入公园景区

驾车路线

一：

永丰路-北清路向西（海淀驾校方向）——凤凰岭

二：

阜成门-阜石路-西六环（海淀方向）-温阳路出口-温北路-台头村-凤凰岭

Take bus 346 from Beigong men station on Subway Line 4,get off at the last stop (Phoenix Ridge Park ).The monastery is in the park.

Driving Route

Yongfeng Road: -Beiqing Rode(westward to Haidian Driving School )-Fenghuangling (Phoenix Ridge Park)

Fuchengmen -Fushi Road -6th Ring Road(Toward Haidian ) -Exit at Wenyang Road -Wenbei Road -Taitoucun -Fenghuangling (Phoenix Ridge Park)

注意事项

1,报名的人一定要填表单报名，不接受空降

2,服从组织者安排，不得喧闹

3,轻装前来，不得带包进入寺内

4,不得迟到，迟到的话就自己在山上玩吧

5,中午的斋饭一定要吃光，不得剩饭

6,不给拍照的地方不要拍照，听从义工管理

7,集体行动一定要排队，有秩序

8,下午和法师交流时，可提问人生、工作困扰，不提用百度就可以找到答案的知识性问题

Important Notes

1. Those who wish to come must sign up by filling the forms.

2. Follow the organizer’s instructions. Don’t make a noise.

3. No bags are allowed in the monastery.

4. Don’t be late. We will not wait for you.

5. Finish your lunch in the noon. Don’t waste your food.

6. Don’t take pictures where it is not allowed. Follow the instructions of the volunteers at the monastery.

7. Stay in line and be orderly in group activities.

8. When exchanging ideas with master monks in the afternoon, you may ask questions about life or work, but please do not ask questions concerning facts that can be answered by looking up the internet.
